Cherry Almond Crumble (vegan, gluten-free, & paleo)


TGIF!!! You guys just do not even know how happy I am that it’s Friday. I’m writing this post up on Thursday evening {about 6} and I’m so tired, I could seriously crawl in bed right now. It’s been a really long and not very fun week. No need to dwell on the negative, though. Help me focus on the positive…. IT’S FRIDAY!!!!!!! And I have an extremely delicious recipe for you; that you’re definitely going to love!

Cherry Almond Crumble {vegan, gluten-free, and paleo}

Remember last week when I was going cherry crazy? I’ve shared the Cherry Plantain Almond Bread aka the best bread ever, the Cherry Creamsicles and today I’m sharing the last of my cherry creations….. Cherry Almond Crumble. You guys are going to love this recipe and it’s vegan, gluten-free and paleo.

Cherry Almond Crumble {vegan, gluten-free, & paleo}

Prep Time: 10 minutes

Cook Time: 40 minutes

Total Time: 50 minutes

Yield: serves 8-10

Cherry Almond Crumble {vegan, gluten-free, & paleo}

Cherry and almond make for the perfect flavor combination in this healthified crumble.


  • 2.5 cups almond meal/flour
  • 1/4 cup ground flax meal
  • 1/2 cup coconut sugar/crystals + 1 tablespoon coconut sugar (regular sugar works too)
  • 1 tablespoon baking powder
  • 3/4 cup melted coconut oil
  • 2.5 cups coarsely chopped cherries
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • 1 teaspoon almond extract


  • Preheat oven to 375 degrees F.
  • Combine almond flour/meal, flax, 1/2 cup sugar, and baking powder.
  • Stir in melted coconut oil.
  • Use the back of a large spoon to press half of the dough into an 8 to 9 inch square baking dish.
  • In a medium bowl, toss berries with remaining sugar, lemon juice and almond extract.
  • Pour cherry mixture over dough. Crumble remaining dough over the top.
  • Bake crumble for 40 minutes and until top is golden brown.
