Spreading Holiday Cheer

This post is part of a social shopper marketing insight campaign withPollinate Media Group™ and Open Me, but all my opinions are my own. #pmedia #OpenMeHoliday http://cmp.ly/3/8vNxcO.

What better time than the holidays to let your friends and family know how much you love and appreciate them. I’ve got lots of various friends and family that mean so much to me, but the one person that means the most is probably the least likely to get the recognition he deserves.

Isn’t that the way it usually works? It seems that we typically take for granted the people that are closest to us and support us the most. When I found out that I would be partnering with Open Me online greeting card company; I knew the perfect person to receive my holiday card. My hubby, Brad, is my best friend and greatest supporter and unfortunately, I don’t always tell him how grateful I am that he is in my life.

browsing cards

I browsed the “Open Me” site {see above} and came up with these four cards that I really loved for Brad. Be sure to head over and take a peek at all of the choices. There are funny, sarcastic, sweet, sappy, cute and gorgeous cards…. something for everyone. There’s even photo cards. I ended up choosing the one with the couple walking in the snow. It looked so sweet and I loved the message inside…. it was just perfect!

The whole process is super simple and can be completed within a matter of minutes. The hardest part is making a decision from all of the fabulous card choices. Once you choose your card, you are taken to a screen to make it your own.

choosing a card

Below is the view from the inside of the card; where I had my choice between two greetings. This one was just too perfect! You also have the choice to add a photo and personalize the card with your own greeting.

There is even the option to add a photo and message on the back of the card.

Last, it’s time to preview your creation, pick a date and send it. It is free to send any amount of cards that you want by email or Facebook or pay $4 to send an actual card by mail. I especially love the option to send by Facebook! I’m definitely going to be using this on my friends’ birthdays and the choose a date option is so handy. What a unique way to wish your family and friends happy birthday on Facebook…. talk about special!

sending

Brad is going to be really surprised to receive a card from me. We’re really not card people and he may not admit it, but I think he’s going to feel pretty special. I know I would!!!!  I may need to show him how “Open Me” works! The {inside} finished product is below.

Below are a few other cards I thought were cute and wanted to share… not just for Christmas. The front of the card is on the left and inside is on the right.

Something to think about….

Have you ever heard of “Open Me”?

Have you ever used any greeting card service? Do you ever send out cards?

If you had to choose one person to send a greeting card to, who would you choose and why?

Hope your Wednesday is full of holiday cheer!!!!

  1. I’ve not heard of them before but I love how cheap it is to put together a personalised card like that! And I love that you sent it to your husband too :)

  2. Awe this is so sweet. Never heard of them before, but I think personalized cards are such a great thing this time of year. It really can show how much you care for a person.

  3. Thanks for sharing this website! My family loves sending things electronically (yay for saving paper!) so this would be a fun way to spread our Christmas wishes to others. :)
