Happy What I Ate Wednesday! I documented my eats from yesterday and I have to say they are much of the same as usual. I did make a new lunch recipe; which was super yummy that I’ll be sharing. Something to look forward to! Head on over to Peas and Crayons to check out delicious eats around the blog world.
Breakfast was another regular. I’ve made it my goal to have a green smoothie every weekday morning. It’s not too difficult because I enjoy them so much. Yesterday, my smoothie was made up of baby kale, cucumber, banana, almond butter and almond milk. Pretty simple, but pretty great too!
My midmorning snack was the usual…. baby carrots for the win! Excuse the old picture…. I didn’t have any almonds today.
Lunch was something new, though. On Sunday, I tried Gina’s Sweet Potato Turkey Shepherd’s Pie recipe. I know the picture isn’t the greatest, but the shepherd’s pie is a keeper for sure. Brad approved too! I had a kiwi on the side. A shepherd’s pie and a kiwi….go figure….
Take a wild guess as to what I had for my afternoon snack……
You guessed it!
Starbucks is my VERY favorite place to kill time….
It’s been so long since I’ve had a Skinny Vanilla Latte. Such a perfect afternoon treat!
I had dinner out. The kiddos had all of their various activities and I was too lazy to make and bring my dinner with me, so Which Wich saved the day. I had my favorite…. the black bean patty with mushrooms, caramelized onions, spinach, black olives and tomatoes. I did bring my own pineapple to have on the side.
Something to think about…..
Have you tried the Skinny Vanilla Latte at Starbucks? What’s your current favorite Starbucks drink?
Have you ever made one of Gina’s, from Skinnytaste.com, recipes? What did you make?
What did you have for dinner last night?
Make it a great day!
