Yippee! It’s Friday! I’m just slightly excited….can you tell? This week has been so busy at work and it’s really not looking much better for the month of January.
While I’m blog reading; when I come across a recipe that I want to try making I jot it down in a notebook to refer back to later. Don’t ask me when I’m going to find time to try all of these out…..but I do have Spring Break to look forward to.
Do you find yourself in the predicament of so many recipes, so little time?
Maybe you have some time on your hands…probably not, but here’s some yummy looking recipes just in case.
These chocolate bars caught my eye when I saw them on chocolatecoveredkatie.com, but I’m really liking Liv’s ingredient substitutions. These sea salted dark chocolate bars would be awesome to have around when you’re looking for a sweet treat. However, I’m not so sure how long they would be around in this house!
I really like baking with coconut flour, but it can be a little tricky to keep the recipe from becoming too dry. This microwavable coconut flour bread from Jessie, looks super delish and super simple….which is always a plus!
Even the picky eaters in my household like kale chips, so I try to make them every chance I get. I typically just drizzle a little olive oil on them and sprinkle on a little seasoning. This can get really boring and Gina’s coconut kale chips are definitely way more jazzed up. Can’t wait to give these a try!
There are several of Jenn’s recipes that I have so been wanting to cook up, but the one at the top of my list is her Sketch-Free Broccoli Cheese Soup. Does this look amazing or what?!?! I’m craving this soup so bad, it’s turning up in my dreams!!
I have bought all of the ingredients to recreate these tasty looking ultimate veggie burgers from Kelly, but just haven’t found the time yet. I NEED to find the time VERY soon!! I just love how short the ingredient list is!
One thing from my list that I did get made, this morning actually, was Tina’s French Toast Breakfast Scramble. I may become an addict just like Tina. It was wonderful and actually did taste a lot like French Toast. The perfect toppings were my homemade peanut butter {recipe coming this weekend!}, shredded coconut, and arils. (I used 3 egg whites.)
Believe me, these aren’t the only recipes on my list, but just the ones at the top. There just isn’t enough time in the day!
Something to think about…..
Do you ever make lists of recipes you’re dying to make?
I use pinterest too, but I find that I’m more likely to look over my written out lists.
Ever tried any of the above recipes? Which one?
Do you find that there are just too many recipes and way too little time?
Any fun weekend plans?
Have a great weekend!!

Oh I can so relate on that! I have a little notebook filled with printed out recipes or handwritten, mostly from bloggers to try out. And just not enough time, and sometimes I even forget about it and cook my old boring meals
I saw that coconut bread from Jessie too, I need to try it. And I baked your zucchini bread last weekend, it was delish!!
Lucie@FitSwissChick When I was little……
Thanks, Lucie! Have a great weekend!
I agree! So many amazing recipes! But that’s okay. I love that there is always another technique, ingredient, spice or combination to test out. Keeps it interesting!

Whenever I find a recipe that looks/sounds good or that looks like something that I would like to adapt to make vegetarian, I always add it to my bookmarks on my computer. Every once in awhile, I go through these bookmarks and delete some old ones and make a plan to make some of them. I think that it works fairly well, but my bookmarks section on my computer is now SUPER full. I have an outrageous amount of recipes saved and seem to add to this list almost daily. As a result, I will definitely never be fully caught up with my “to make” list…EVER!

I do make a list! It’s on the bookmark bar of my internet browser! I have 11 right now up there haha

Kristen@Change of Pace Peeling Eggs
That’s a great idea!
Oh goodness, yes – there are SO many amazing recipes out there that it almost gets to be a bit overwhelming. I have a lot of recipes saved on my computer, but I’m absolutely horrible at actually making them. I have no idea why either… I guess I just fall into grooves with my meals and have trouble introducing anything new.

I’m glad you like the idea of sea salt! And yes, they sure didn’t stay around for too long.
Thanks for linking back to me!
